What? The 2008-9 Off-piste Course for Skiers

When? Sunday January 11-18, 2009
Where? Sainte Foy, Tarentaise: A paradise of untracked powder!
Who? Any intermediate skier who is confident on red runs and would like to take his/ her skiing to the next level. These weeks are designed for people who have little or no experience skiing off-piste.
Why? To escape from the pistes and enjoy the 'big white world' with guidance and safety of qualified guides. For the thrill of skiing without boundaries!

Sample Itinerary:
Sunday: Arrive and settle into the chalet
Monday: Free morning to find your 'ski legs' and get rid of the cobwebs! Afternoon: Half-day off-piste lesson and guiding
Tuesday: Avalanche awareness and transceiver training
Wednesday: Half-day off-piste lesson and guiding
Thursday: Full day off-piste lesson and guiding
Friday: Full day ski safari day with a Snowology host to Tignes with the opportunity to practise your new found 'beeper' skills in Le SPOT
Saturday: Free day in Sainte Foy

The Snowology Off-piste Course includes the following:
A FREE 6-day Sainte Foy ski pass
Two half days and one full day of off-piste instruction and guiding with a qualified guide
Avalanche awareness and transceiver training
A ski safari day out to Tignes with a Snowology host

The Off-piste Course for Skiers holiday also includes:

Seven night's spacious chalet accommodation in twin or double rooms
Champagne and canapés on arrival

Six 3-course evening meals including unlimited wine

Avoid the Single Supplement !!
There is no single supplement payable if you opt for our "sharer" option. We will put you in a twin room with a sharer of the same sex. If we do not find you a sharer then we reserve the right to put you in the bunk room on the lower ground floor on your own, again no supplement is payable and you have a room to yourself! For those who want a twin room to themselves please enquire about the rate.
