Chalet Nicole 15 Mar 09

A very full week in Chalet Nicole, with everyone trying something new. Friends of the hosts Tom and Nat were staying with us - including Nat's brother Rohan.

There were also visits to Tignes and La Thuile, post dinner races up the nursery slope, drinking games and lots of red wine consumed, the record being 12 bottles in one night!!!

Alex : What more could a girl want than the offer of private lessons from the chap in the ski shop. Instead Alex went to ski school with towels down the back of her trousers.

Jock : AKA Frank the Tank. Just ask him how well how the drinking games went?? But credit to him as he did recover to enjoy the experience of Fogliettaz.

Rohan : The man did jumps, skied the Fog, won races down the marquis, dressed up in a dog's outfit, somehow though he never lost the title as DAD.

Joseph : Toohey was a machine in the board park in Tignes, even taking on the rails. Not so good as a werewolf though….

Monique : A great and stylish skier as well as an incredibly talented snowboarder, fast traverse, fall over, turn around and another fast traverse!!!

Ben : Need we say more than "Speedo Man". Just ask the lift guys what they thought about the appearance of a man in speedos from the toilets at the bottom of second.

Krista : A neat and tidy ski that hadn't fallen over in 10 years, until the jumps in Tignes just got the better of her. But then she went on to prove that she could board as well.
