Chalet Sache 8 March 09

What a fab week in Chalet Sache, a mixed bunch made up of beginners, returners and people as far a field as Australia and Dubai.

The beer tasting was won by Alistair and there was even a visit from Mr Poubelle just for the young at heart.

Sam : So for his second week Sam ripped up the off piste, like the original powder hound, he spent a day with Fred getting as many freshtracks as possible.

Alastair : Not to be out done by his brother Alistair also spent most of the week in the off piste powder and also discovered a love for a cheesy Raclette.

Guljeet : Miss Stylish on skis, this lady managed to look fabulous every day of the week, and her skiing was rather swish too.

Poonam : Ski school took Poonam from a beginner to a Marquis master over the week, and so another ski enthusiast was born.

Ben : Snow in Dubai to snow in Sainte Foy, Ben went from one giant leap to another time after time, well except for that face plant!!

Bianca : The life and soul of the chalet, always smiling, Bianca loved the Sainte Foy experience.

Lin : A speedy beginner learner, or was that because she was trying to catch JC?? Lin now has her winter sport to complement her summer sport..

David : Not quite the same as skiing in Australia…. David loved the Sainte Foy experience and all the powder that came with.

Cathie : She may not have skied but Cathie certainly put in the miles. Extreme snow shoeing with Bruno and lots of walking filled her week.

Martyn : He has stayed with snowology many times now and he loves Sainte Foy just the same, hopefully we will see him for a weekend in April.

Mandy : She pushed he skiing to the max on the second to last day, top to bottom of the mountain all the way on reds, go mandy!!

Richard : Who needs painkillers, NOT Richard. This guy just took the pain and continued to crave up the mountain.
